10 years of Sonia as President

The article of Mr. Vir Sanghvi 14/3, is only one side of the coin.The words and findings have little in reality. It was only a trial by Media to carve a hero out of zero. As a reader I make my comments .

Your remark and picture “taking over from Kesari” is not correct, as the old man was toppled and forcibly removed from the Post and she unilaterally declared as President

Since her taking charge, the national party had shrinked to a mere regional one ;in Delhi, after the defeat after defeat in states of UP,MP,HP,Gujarat,Bihar,Orissa, Rajasthan and now in the NE states. The only state left for congress to rule on its weight, is Delhi and in some pockets with the help of regional parties. Is this her achievement?

In the 2004 election, congress got only 8 seats more than the opposition and you termed it as a thumping victory. Is it so?. The UPA formed the minority Govt. with one lame leg of congress, two of Left and one from the regional parties, who were ;with the BJP for 6 years. To keep the goings on, the lady had to prostrate before Karat, once in a month and also dance to the tune of DMK chief. Indira Gandhi was the last congress leader who delivered and no comments of dynasty rule, from any quarters due to her enviable capacity. But it is not the case of Sonia or Rahul, who lack visionary leadership and only keep hopes in the surname Gandhi. This name is being used unauthorized to defraud the poor illiterate voters. The Mahatma Gandhi was never involved in the governance or connected with the Nehru family, .Their names should be Sonia Rajiv and Rahul Rajiv. It is ridiculous on the part of Media to frequently mention “Nehru Gandhi family Rule. It is only Nehru Family Rule.. Gandhiji’s name is unnecessarily dragged in the middle to get mileage for congress. Rahul is doing road shows ;and issuing stray comments which did not work in UP or Guijarat The main reason for the congress to decline is due to their shifting from the original basic features of Honesty, Integrity and Dharma to a mere Power hungry. Example, the fraudulent struggle in Bihar, Jharkand, and now in Meghalaya, to retain power, which all failed.The congress can be revived only if they can go back to original principles and morality, with Honesty as Password. It is a pity that the Big National party could not find a suitable Leader to guide and; have to ponder the dynastic way. I am a sympathizer of congress fore the past 7 decades, not the present one, but the original congress found by persons like Gandhiji and others.

In 1999 and 2004, she wanted become PM with a false figure 272 (in 99) and in both occasions, she brought her parents and others in chartered flight from Italy to witness her swearing in ceremony. But had to return; with blackened face. Is this sacrifice? The drama was enacted after her last minute visit with President, who gave a friendly advice that it is inappropriate and wrong for a foreign lady to lead this country. The sycophants turned it as great sacrifice.. Mr. Pawar and Mulayam did the good thing to protest her coming to power. The former is now with her.

When the President invited the largest party of Vajpayee to form Govt. in 99, the entire media and parties vehemently protested and even threatened the President . But when the; same; thing was enacted in Meghalaya, there were only few protesters
